No question about it, these are center piece plants. There are a few downsides to these plants but they are very minor. They don't do well in water that is much over 80 deg. so they are not a choice for Discus tanks. Sometimes (but not often) they drop there leaves when transplanted but will quickly develop new ones if it happens. They are not easy to propagate in aquariums. They send a floral spike out of the water that can sometimes get up in your lights if you don't watch for them. I told you they were minor
